There was an instrumental version of “Windmills Of Your Mind” used in the BBC series “Model World” with Bob Symes during the 1970′s. It was shown in the episode of radio-controlled gliders. Can anyone tell me who recorded THIS version of the song?

Noel Harrison sang it in “The Thomas Crown Affair” with Steve McQueen. That’s the only one I know of.If you go on the web and type the title “Windmills of your Mind” it might come up.

I’m pretty sure you’re confusing a couple of different singers here, and may have the title of the 2nd song you mentioned incorrect.
Dusty Springfield is the female voice behind “Windmills” and she sure wasn’t Japanese. There was a popular Japanese female vocalist as I recall, but it was earlier in the ’60s and I can’t connect her with “Windmills.” Regarding the other title, could you be thnking of “I’ll Never Fall in Love Again”? Dionne Warwicke covered that song in 1970, but she’s not Japanese either.

I was listening to the radio the other day (nova 969 in Australia to be specific).
And a song came on, and its sort of an RnB remix of the song windmills of your mind… just wondering if anyone would know the song… (I have already emailed the radio station, but they haven’t replied)
