Why dont they build the dam @ Kielder water Northumberland into a hydro power station?

Kielder Water is the biggest man made lake in europe. Built in the late 70s to Top up the rivers Tyne &Wear for launching ships ie Esso Northumbria because the Suez canal was blocked by Nassa. Now the kielder water is A play pond as no ships are built on the Tyne & Wear.I hate 150 foot white windmills. can the lake not be put to better use ?………….

My friend used to watch this movie with his dad when he was little. About a little boy that has a hideout in like an old shack by old strip mines that are lakes and when the windmill starts turning the water starts bubbling.He gets scared and runs off the first time. Then one day he made his own scubba gear to find out what it was. When the boy went to go into the water he had a little girl with him and when he didnt come up after a while she went to find help. The cover of the movie should have the boy in his scubba gear on it. Its not in cartoon form. The setting may be in Austrailia.

Ok I found this new hidden level where you have to use the rocket nozzle to the left of delfino plaza, where the palms are on the side of the cliff.
anyways, that is not my question. How do you kill these blue ball things(same that are all aver the right side of the windmill area in front of the lake) that bury on the ground when you approach them. if you get to close they’ll start shooting rocks all over and hurt you. It’s the only thing I need to kill to finish that level.

Does anyone know the name of the film that had the plot about a monster in a lake that would bubble?

There are kids at a lake and every now and then the wind blows hard, the scene cuts to a spinning wind-direction windmill thingy, and bubbles would comu up from the bottom of the lake. It was a scary film (from what I remember!) and the kids wanted to find out what it was. It turned out it was just some tractor/crane type object under the water, where air was gathering in the diggers ‘bucket’ which would fill so much it would rise to the top of the lake, fill with water, and sink again. The tractor had been there for years and was covered in weeds and mould.

Does anyone have any idea what this film was, who was in it, or any further details to the plot? It’s been driving me mad for years.
