Does anyone know a link to find the top windmill designs for a project. The windmill is to create the most wind energy.

In general, the windmill that is the largest and operates the longest time will create the most energy. However, a better measure of a windmill is the amount of power it will produce, which is proportional to the cube of the wind speed. Note that the energy produced is the continuous summation of the power times the time. Look at the Betz equation in the reference below.

This is a great site for wind turbines. It has ALOT of info on the subject. It is for large scale wind turbines but the data is scalable to any size because the aerodynamics will scale down, to a point.

A New Breakthough in Windmill Design……………..?
I have invented and provisionally patented a new windmill design. And no, this is not some hokey device with balloons, kites, conveyor belts or any other kind whirligigs apparatuses. This new invention speaks for itself.
I need investors to help with the prototype construction and testing.
How do I find them ASAP?

I’m calling BS on this one.
1) Windmill design doesn’t need a breakthrough, they’re perfectly good as they are. Wind energy is one of the fastest growing industries in the world.
2) If you knew enough about the wind industry to actually know that your new design was a breakthrough, you wouldn’t need to be asking advise on here.

Check the link below — it shows an example of the pinwheel deisgn. It seems to be 4 thin, long tiles, interlocking around a small square tile. Colors would be your choice.
“For the floor, they are going to do a pinwheel design using a black and white design tile as a rug, and then put white pinwheel designed tile around that (figure A). Black and white is very classic deco.”
The “figure A” shows a picture of what it looks like.
Second link shows another version of “pinwheel” design with larger tiles. If you do a google images search on “pinwheel tile”, there are MANY other instances shown to copy from!
